Junior and Senior Infants have been busy learning about the world of coding using Bee Bots.
Bee-Bots are small, child-friendly, programmable floor robots designed to introduce children to basic coding concepts like sequencing and problem-solving. They are controlled by simple arrow buttons on their backs to move forward, backward, and turn, and they follow a sequence of commands to complete a path. These robots are a hands-on and engaging tool for learning logical thinking, directional language, and estimation skills through play.
We have been busy giving our Bee Bots simple instructions to plan routes and solve problems. They have given us much enjoyment and lots of laughs. We look forward to using these Bee Bots at different times throughout the year.
